Delta Faucet Facebook Challenge Rewards Fans With $500 for Their Most Popular DIY Solutions

PR Newswire

INDIANAPOLIS, Nov. 2, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The team at Delta Faucet knows that do-it-yourself (DIY) can take many forms.  From home renovations to the small improvisations that make everyday life a bit easier, sometimes it's the things we do ourselves that are the most rewarding. Now, to celebrate the everyday ways people make improvements around their homes and in their lives, Delta Faucet is inviting its Facebook fans to share their photos in a contest to win one of four $500 Visa gift card prizes.

"At Delta Faucet, innovation is what drives us, and we're constantly developing new products and technologies that improve the way consumers experience water," said Susan Fisher, vice president of marketing for Delta Faucet. "In this spirit, we are excited to hear about our Facebook fans' home improvements and innovations as they relate to all of the events and activities that take place around this time of year."

Beginning November 2 and continuing through December 22, Delta Faucet will encourage users to share photos depicting a theme represented by one of four mini contests to win a Visa gift card worth $500. Every two weeks, a new mini-contest will begin with a new topic. Kicking off the contest series is the theme: "Making the Most out of Daylight Savings Time," which asks users to share a photo that shows how they plan to make the most out of the extra hour they'll gain as Daylight Savings Time draws to a close this year.  To enter, users simply "like" the Delta Faucet Facebook page and click on the contest tab to upload a photo with a caption that demonstrates their answer. At the end of each voting period, the entry with the most votes wins the $500 prize.
