SUNNYVALE, CA, Nov 15 (MARKET WIRE) --
NetApp (NASDAQ: NTAP) today announced it is accepting nominations for the
2012 NetApp Innovation Awards, which recognize customers that have
delivered innovation in IT with NetApp(R) products and solutions to drive
greater efficiency and flexibility in their organizations. Award
recipients will be chosen based on the positive, impactful, and
successful business results they have achieved by building on a NetApp
foundation, while demonstrating creativity and leadership in storage best
practices.

NetApp Innovation Award categories:

-- One winner will be recognized in each of the following categories:
Efficiency Innovation, Flexibility Innovation, and Visionary
Leadership.
-- One winner will be selected in each category by a third-party panel of
judges consisting of distinguished representatives from global
business and technology media and analysts.
-- In addition to these categories, the top nominations from all
categories will be judged in a special Innovator of the Year category,
which will recognize one winner from the U.S. public sector and one
winner from each of the following three global geographies: Americas,
APAC, and EMEA.

Nomination period:

-- Companies can nominate themselves or agree to be nominated by NetApp
employees, channel or technology partners, other companies, or
colleagues through an online submission form. All nominations must be
received by midnight Pacific Time on Wednesday, January 11, 2012, to
be eligible for consideration.

NetApp Innovation Award winners will receive the following:

-- Two round-trip tickets to San Jose, California, and accommodations for
a two nights' stay to attend the awards events at NetApp in June 2012
