Amphenol Corporation Announces Pricing of $500 Million of Senior Notes

Amphenol Corporation (NYSE-APH) announced today the pricing of its offering of $500 million aggregate principal amount of senior notes due 2022 (the “Notes”). The Notes will have an interest rate of 4.000% per annum and are being issued at a price equal to 99.746% of their face value. The closing of the offering is expected to occur on January 26, 2012, subject to customary closing conditions.

The Company intends to use all of the net proceeds from the offering to repay amounts outstanding under its revolving credit facility.

Barclays Capital Inc., Deutsche Bank Securities Inc. and J.P. Morgan Securities LLC are acting as book-running managers for the offering.

The Notes are being offered pursuant to the Company’s effective shelf registration statement on file with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
