Euro at 3-1/2 mth high vs yen, dlr drops against Swiss franc

LONDON Feb 23 (Reuters) - The euro rose to its highest in nearly 3-1/2 months against the yen on Thursday, with the common currency gaining broadly on steady demand from Middle East investors and a UK clearer. The euro rose to a 106.61 yen, its highest since Nov. 14 on trading platform EBS. The euro was also 0.3 percent higher against the dollar at $1.3290.

The dollar fell to a 3-1/2 month low against the Swiss franc , dropping to 0.90623 francs, its lowest level since Nov 14.
