Junior Achievement of Central Virginia will induct Austin Brockenbrough, III, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of Lowe, Brockenbrough and Company, John H. Hager, retired Senior Vice President of American Tobacco Company, and John Sherman, Jr., retired Chief Executive Officer of Scott and Stringfellow, into the Greater Richmond Business Hall of Fame on Thursday, May 17, 2012 at the Jefferson Hotel in Richmond, Virginia. Established in 1988, the Greater Richmond Business Hall of Fame honors individuals whose business innovations, effective management and civic involvement made a difference in companies and communities throughout the Central Virginia region. Laureates are also recognized for the high standards they have set as role models for Virginia’s young people.
Robert M. Lynch, President and Chief Executive Officer of Lumber Liquidators will serve as the 2012 Greater Richmond Business Hall of Fame event Chairman. Lumber Liquidators is a Signature Sponsor of this event along with Capital One Investing for Good and BB&T/Scott & Stringfellow.
