PR Newswire

SAN DIEGO, May 16, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- A $45 million settlement has been reached in a class action lawsuit over Skechers, USA, Inc.'s "toning" footwear known as Shape-ups, Tone-ups, Skechers Resistance Runner, and Shape-ups Toners.

If approved by the court, the proposed settlement will result in cash refunds for each pair of shoes purchased in the following amounts:

Initial Amount

Maximum Amount (if money is available)

Tone-ups (Non-Podded Sole)

Resistance Runner

To be eligible for a refund, purchasers must submit a valid claim.  Claims can be submitted online at  For further information, visit, or, or call 866-325-4186.  The actual amount claimants will receive will depend on the number of valid claims submitted.
