WellCare to Hold 2012 Annual Meeting of Stockholders on May 23 in Tampa, Florida

Tampa, Florida (May 16, 2012) - WellCare Health Plans, Inc. (NYSE: WCG) will hold its 2012 Annual Meeting of Stockholders on Wednesday, May 23, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time.  The meeting is to be held at the Company's headquarters in Tampa, Florida.  In conjunction with the meeting, Alec Cunningham, WellCare's chief executive officer, will present information about the Company's results and outlook.

The presentation will be webcast live.  In addition, a replay of the webcast will be available beginning approximately one hour following the conclusion of the live broadcast and for 30 days thereafter.  Both the live presentation and the replay will be available via the Company's web site at www.wellcare.com.
