American Midstream Partners, LP Announces Appointment of Donald H. Anderson to the Board of Directors of its General Partner
DENVER, CO -May 31, 2012- American Midstream Partners, LP (NYSE: AMID), today announced the appointment of Donald H. Anderson to the board of directors of its general partner effective May 22, 2012. Mr. Anderson will serve as an independent director and as a member of the Audit Committee. Mr. Anderson is currently a director of KP Kaufman Inc., a private exploration and production company principally operating in the DJ Basin of Colorado. Prior to joining KP Kaufman Inc., Mr. Anderson was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of TransMontaigne Partners L.P. Mr. Anderson joined TransMontaigne Inc., the general partner of TransMontaigne Partners, as President in 1999.
Concurrent with the appointment of Mr. Anderson, Matthew Carbone resigned as a member of the board of directors. In addition, Edward Diffendal resigned as a member of the Audit Committee but will remain a member of the board of directors.

Prior to TransMontaigne, Mr. Anderson served as President of Associated Natural Gas Corporation until its merger with Panhandle Eastern Corporation. He has also served as a director of Forest Oil Corporation, Basin Exploration Inc., and Genesis Energy LLC. Mr. Anderson holds a BS in Business Administration from the University of Colorado and began his career as a Certified Public Accountant with KPMG.
