COPENHAGEN, June 22 (Reuters) - The following stocks may be affected by newspaper reports and other factors on Friday. Markets are closed in Finland and Sweden:
REC
Struggling solar equipment firm Renewable Energy Corp. will take a large impairment charge in the second quarter and plans to raise 1.3 billion crowns ($218.79 million) to pay down debt, it said on Friday.
Oslo-based REC, which has struggled with weak demand and high costs, plans to sell 866.7 million new shares in a private placement for 1.5 crowns each, well below the share's last close at 2.92 crowns.

ORKLA
Norwegian conglomerate Orkla has agreed to buy dental hygiene and painting tools firm Jordan for 1.18 billion crowns ($198.59 million) on a cash and debt-free basis, it said on Friday.
Jordan, purchased from Norwegian family owned Jordan AS, generated sales revenue around 900 million crowns and operating profit of 90 million crowns in 2011, Orkla said.

AKER SOLUTIONS
Oil services firm Aker Solutions will invest $100 million in a new multi-purpose service site for its drilling equipment business in Brazil, it said in a statement on Friday.
The development will include production, assembly and testing capacity, to provide local content to support the country's drilling rig-building programme.

NOVO NORDISK
The Danish insulin producer is starting a phase-three study of its once-weekly diabetes analogue semaglutide, the company said in a statement late on Thursday.
It said phase 1 trials had reconfirmed the safety profile of liraglutide but that the studies had shown semaglutide had a more attractive profile for once-weekly administration.
Novo Nordisk decided to focus on further development of semaglutide, while no further clinical activities with the once-weekly version of liraglutide were expected, it said.

CARLSBERG
The management of the Danish brewer's India unit aims to double its market share to over 10 percent over the next two to three years, business daily Borsen said. The brewer is planning to build a new brewery in Bihar at a value of about 165 million Danish crowns ($27.98 million), Borsen said.
