WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President Barack Obama's re-election campaign and its Democratic partners raised some $71 million in June, a campaign official said on Monday.

The figures put Obama, the Democratic incumbent, well below his opponent, Republican Mitt Romney, whose campaign and partners raised $106.1 million in the same month.

Hmmm…the people don’t like Romney, but he raises much more money than Obama. I think you call it the buying of the Presidency. Funny how the rightwing ideologues on the Supreme Court all voted in favor of Citizens United and against 99.9% of the American people, and the result is the Republicans raising a lot more money in their political campaigns, and mostly from extremely rich donors looking forward to more tax cuts and deregulating of their industries. Pretending to be a democracy is such fun!

Now…if we can just get Mr. Romney to release his tax returns. I find it interesting that Mitt’s own father said that releasing just one year’s tax return is “meaningless”. I agree with Mitt’s father. What does Mitt have to hide?
