Seabridge Gold Files Second Quarter 2012 Financial Statements and MD&A

TORONTO, CANADA, Aug 14 (MARKET WIRE) -- Seabridge Gold (TSX:SEA)(NYSE:SA) reported today that it has filed Financial Statements and its Management's Discussion and Analysis for the three and six months ended June 30, 2012 on SEDAR (www.sedar.com). During the three month period ended June 30, 2012 Seabridge posted a net loss of $2.3 million ($0.05 per share) compared to a loss of $7.3 million ($0.18 per share) for the same period last year. During the 2nd quarter, Seabridge invested $12.2 million in mineral interests, primarily at KSM and Courageous Lake, compared to $9.7 million during the same period last year. At June 30, 2012, net working capital was $39.3 million compared to $57 million at December 31, 2011.
