TOKYO, Aug 16 (Reuters) - Following are orders for Japanese
stocks placed through nine foreign securities houses before the
start of trade on Thursday.
    
    Japanese Stocks:
    BUY                  16.1 million shares
    SELL                 10.5 million shares
