CARACAS Aug 25 (Reuters) - An explosion has stopped operations at Venezuela's biggest oil refinery, Energy Minister Rafael Ramirez said on Saturday, adding that he expected the 645,000-barrel-per day Amuay facility to resume operations within two days.

Officials say at least 19 people were killed and more than 50 wounded in the blast, which was caused by a gas leak.
