Dutch police say plane hijack alert due to loss of contact-media

AMSTERDAM Aug 29 (Reuters) - Dutch police confirmed that a Vueling passenger plane which triggered a security alert at Schiphol airport had not been hijacked, Dutch news agency ANP reported on Wednesday.

Confusion over a possible hijacking arose because there was no radio contact, ANP reported citing the police.
