Seoul shares edge up as Fed keeps stimulus door open

SEOUL, Sept 3 (Reuters) - Seoul shares rose slightly early on Monday, after U.S. Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke kept alive hopes of fiscal easing in a much-anticipated speech over the weekend.

The Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) was trading up 0.2 percent at 1,909.06 points as of 0001 GMT. (Reporting by Christine Kim; Editing by Richard Pullin)
