Explosion in diplomatic quarter of Afghan capital
KABUL, Sept 8 |
KABUL, Sept 8 (Reuters) - A large explosion was heard in the diplomatic quarter of Kabul on Saturday, Reuters witnesses said.
A loudspeaker announcement made by NATO's International Security Assistance Force (ISAF), which is in the highly barricaded zone, said there had been a "detonation", and instructed personnel to remain inside.
