Wal-Mart, Amex to make financial services announcement on Monday

NEW YORK Oct 7 (Reuters) - Wal-Mart and American Express will hold a conference call for media analysts and investors on Monday at 8:30 a.m. EST to make a financial services announcement, the companies said in a joint press statement on Sunday.

Media will be allowed to ask questions after remarks from the companies.

Well, since they own about 10% of Green Dot ….maybe they made a deal with AE to come out with a RED DOT card for all the American unemployed that shop at their stores.

Sounds like American Express is hard up for business….maybe they can partner with Li Ka-shing in Hong Kong like Wal*Mart did that port in Mexico and come out with a plastic card that charges no interest…the customer just can’t use it.

Made In America is the only way out of this mess cause foreign made put US here.

Retail makes NOTHING….it only moves a countries currency and with Wal*Mart having their Global Procurement Office in China….and putting less than 5% foreign in all their stores in China….and America having a 6 to 1 trade deficit with China….it doesn’t take a person but a short time to realize….especially since 1975 was the last year America had a trade surplus….America is getting a royal screwing by the ignorance of their consumers.
