New Issue-Regions Financial sells $500 mln in shares

Oct 26 (Reuters) - Regions Financial Corp on Thursday
sold $500 million of perpetual depository shares, said IFR, a
Thomson Reuters service. 
    Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, J.P. Morgan, UBS and Wells
Fargo were the joint bookrunning managers for the sale.
