New Cookware and Tools from Williams-Sonoma Represent the Next Generation in Cooking Technology
Thermo-Clad™ cookware, stainless steel kitchen tools, and Williams-Sonoma smart tools introduction draws on more than five decades of culinary expertise
Williams-Sonoma, a member of the Williams-Sonoma Inc. portfolio of brands, announced today the introduction of its own line of cookware, stainless steel tools, and tech-driven Williams-Sonoma smart tools for the kitchen. Drawing on five decades of culinary experience, these new products represent the next generation of technologically advanced cookware and tools for home cooks and professional chefs.
The first products in the Williams-Sonoma Thermo-Clad™ cookware line, along with Williams-Sonoma stainless steel tools and three Williams-Sonoma smart tools – to keep customers connected in the kitchen – will be available online at williams-sonoma.com beginning today and available in Williams-Sonoma retail stores throughout the U.S. and Canada beginning November 23.

Williams-Sonoma’s new Thermo-Clad™ line uses an exclusive aluminum alloy that provides up to 35% more conductivity, resulting in precise and even heating and temperature control. This high conductivity insures that the pan will come to the desired temperature quickly, and that cooking stops when the pans are removed from the heat to prevent over-cooking. Double-wall insulated lids ensure even temperature throughout, while keeping food warm after cooking. Manufactured in Italy, this new cookware technology and design features stay-cool, ergonomic handles that are especially comfortable in the hand. Versatile and efficient, offering deeper fry and sauté pans, the new Thermo-Clad™ cookware comes with a lifetime guarantee. Initial Thermo-Clad™ products available at launch include a 10-piece cookware set, 10” non-stick fry pan and 12” non-stick fry pan with lid.
Williams-Sonoma’s stainless steel tools feature ergonomic and weighted handles for optimal balance, feel, comfort and control. The high performance balloon whisks feature an innovative “flat wire” design that produces aeration at a faster speed. All dishwasher-safe, the tools will be sold separately as well as in sets.
Recognizing the impact that technology is having in the kitchen, the three Williams-Sonoma smart tools - Bluetooth® speaker, kitchen stand, and screen shield - arrive just in time for the holidays, and make perfect gifts for the home cook. The simple and functional kitchen stand is designed to support Apple’s iPad and can be used by itself or seamlessly sit on top of the Bluetooth speaker.
