MINNEAPOLIS - December 10, 2012 - With just two weeks left in the holiday shopping season, Best Buy, the global leader in consumer electronics, today announced it is extending, for the first time ever, its in-store holiday price matching program to BestBuy.com, the 11th most trafficked e-commerce retail site in the United States. BestBuy.com, rated the No. 3 most trafficked retail website this past Cyber Monday[1], already offers one of the largest product selections online. With this new Low Price Guarantee, Best Buy customers can feel confident they are getting the lowest price possible, anywhere online or in store.

The new pricing promotion includes matching against select online competitors' prices now through the holiday season - consistent with the online price match now available in Best Buy stores. Qualifying online retailers include Amazon.com, Walmart.com and Target.com.

With the expanded Low Price Guarantee[2], customers can receive a price match on a product by calling 1-888-BEST BUY (1-888-237-8289) and speaking to one of our customer service agents or by visiting one of our stores. On qualifying products, Best Buy associates will quickly verify the information to complete the price match.

Best Buy garnered a number of third party accolades already this holiday season based on traffic patterns and customer preference including the leader in mobile apps[3]; largest Black Friday crowds[4]; most desired online promotions[5]; and top ranked ads[6].
