Bank's Bama® Banking program features updated image in honor of the University
of Alabama's 15th football national championship
BIRMINGHAM, Ala., Jan. 8, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- BBVA Compass is commemorating
the University of Alabama's national football championship and giving Alabama
fans a new way to display their Crimson Tide pride with a new Bama-branded Visa

Alabama's defeat of No. 1 Notre Dame in the Discover BCS National Championship
made the Crimson Tide the first team to win a third national title and first

national championship in a 21-0 shutout against LSU.

"We are thrilled to showcase Alabama's 15th national title and to allow our

Bama-branded check card," said Jon Mulkin, consumer segment director at BBVA

Adding to a suite of Bama-branded images through the bank's Bama® Banking
program, the design will feature the iconic crimson and white football helmet
emblazoned with the number 15 for new and current checking account customers.
