(Reuters) - The Boy Scouts of America on Wednesday delayed until May a decision about whether to allow gay membership, CNN reported.

The organization had said on January 28 it was considering lifting the restriction that it had upheld in July 2012, amid sharp criticism from gay rights groups and gay former Scouts and Scout leaders.
