AK Steel Announces Price Increase For Carbon Steel Products

WEST CHESTER, Ohio,  Feb. 27, 2013  /PRNewswire/ -- AK Steel (NYSE: AKS) said
today that it will increase current spot market base prices for all carbon
flat-rolled steel products by a minimum of  $50  per ton, effective immediately
with new orders.

for automotive, infrastructure and manufacturing, construction and electrical

Butler, Pennsylvania;  Ashland, Kentucky;  Rockport, Indiana; and its corporate

AK Tube LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of AK Steel, employs about 300 men and
