Oklahoma City, where employees will serve the health care needs of millions of

The announcement was made at a news conference today in Oklahoma City attended
by U.S. Sen. James Inhofe and Stephen J. Hemsley, president and CEO of
UnitedHealth Group.

The company will hire Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians (who must be licensed
to work in Oklahoma), in addition to Customer Service Advocates and a variety of
positions involving training and quality management. The company expects the
facility to be fully staffed by the end of this year to help ensure OptumRx is
prepared to serve UnitedHealthcare employer and individual health plan

The Oklahoma City facility manages mail service order intake and customer

year, the company will have created more than 135 new jobs in Oklahoma City.
