Pontoon Appoints Karin Selfors-Thomann Senior Vice President of Sales, North America

Pontoon, the global leader in workforce solutions, announced today the appointment of Karin Selfors-Thomann as Senior Vice President of Sales, North America. Ms. Selfors-Thomann will report to the Global President, Michael Wachholz, and will have responsibility for Managed Service Provider (“MSP”) sales and business development throughout North America. In her role, Ms. Selfors-Thomann will direct the North American Sales Team and administer the business development strategy for Pontoon—assuring that the workforce solutions provider maintains its leadership position through a focus on innovative technology, customer service, and total talent management solutions for large and emerging companies within the region.

Ms. Selfors-Thomann joins Pontoon after a successful five-year appointment as Head of Group Investor Relations and Special Projects for Adecco—Pontoon’s parent company. Since 2008 she has represented Adecco to the financial markets and led the worldwide leader in human resource solutions on various strategic projects. Prior to joining Adecco, Ms. Selfors-Thomann held the title Executive Director, Senior Equity Sales at UBS and was responsible for Swiss and Benelux institutional investors. Before this, she held positions in controlling at Credit Suisse. Ms. Selfors-Thomann will be relocating from Zurich, Switzerland to Jacksonville, Florida for her new role with Pontoon.

Ms. Selfors-Thomann will begin the role of Senior Vice President of Sales, North America for Pontoon immediately and she will relocate to Jacksonville, Florida this summer with her family. Ms. Selfors-Thomann holds a B.A. from Wilfrid Laurier University in Ontario, Canada and has a Chartered Financial Analyst certificate from the CFA Institute. She has also completed the Executive Leadership Program at INSEAD, France.
