Agrium first-quarter profit slips
May 9 (Reuters) - North America's biggest farm retail supplier Agrium Inc reported lower quarterly profit on Thursday, and said it would buy back up to 5 percent of its stock.
Net earnings for the first quarter fell to $141 million, or 94 cents per share, from $155 million, or 97 cents per share, a year earlier.
