NEW YORK, May 9 (Reuters) - "The 12th of Never," by James
Patterson and Maxine Paetro, climbed to the top of the U.S.
best-sellers list on Thursday.
    The list is compiled using data from independent and chain
bookstores, book wholesalers and independent distributors
nationwide.
