NEW YORK May 14 (Reuters) - The U.S. 30-year Treasury bond extended its loss to a point as a stock market rally diminished demand for safe-haven U.S. debt.

As the 30-year bond price fell, its yield rose to 3.19 percent. Meanwhile, the S&P 500 stock index was up more than 1 percent to a new high.
