WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Incoming acting Internal Revenue Service chief Daniel Werfel has been asked to spearhead a "thorough review" of the scandal-plagued agency and report back to President Barack Obama in 30 days, a Treasury Department official said on Friday.

Obama on Thursday named Werfel, a White House budget official, to take over the agency, which is embroiled in controversy over its targeting of conservative groups for extra scrutiny.

Werfel will report to Obama about progress in holding IRS staff accountable for inappropriate actions, correcting failures that led to the targeting, and taking a forward systemic view of the IRS, the Treasury official said in a statement.

The U.S. government is no longer “our government”, and has become the enemy of “We the People”. The IRS is the new Secret Police of the regime. Be very afraid.

It begins again, another fox is going to investigate the hen house. If such exists, an unbiased criminal investigation is needed.

“inappropriate actions?” “failures?”

Felonies were committed – to include “Misprision of a Felony;” the failure to report a felony – an obviously institutionalized practice extending to the highest levels; implicating the White House – evidenced by Obama’s disregard of what can only be felonies.

Here’s a landmark case for the ACLU – if their claims as to their noble “mission” are to be believed.

This Obama lacky couldn’t spearhead a bullfrog in a shoe box.

The good thing is it doesn’t matter. The gentleman Mr. J. Russell George, Treasury Inspector General for the Tax Administration, who testified with that jerk Steve “space cowboy” Miller already has a criminal investigation going and he will get to the bottom of who, what, where, when and why.
