U.S. could decide to arm Syrian rebels as early as this week: U.S. official

WASHINGTON Mon Jun 10, 2013 8:24am EDT

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The United States could make a decision as early as this week on whether to arm Syrian rebels, a U.S. official said on Monday.

The official, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, said the question of whether to arm rebels is on the agenda of White House meetings during the early part of this week.

The possible move by the United States to arm the rebels who are fighting President Bashar al-Assad's government forces, was first reported by the Associated Press late on Sunday.

The US is already arming and financing these people. Guess what’s next is just to amp it up. The US won’t be happy until it destroys all the secular governments in the Middle East leaving the people there to deal with chaos, destroyed lives, and despotism.

We the People, citizens and adherents to the ways of our founding fathers along with our U.S. Constitution, our Bill of Rights, our Declaration of Independence and our Christian foundations, are not the motive force behind this insidious push of our nation into war against the Assad regime, the Erdogan regime in Turkey, and, when you get right down to it; every possible enemy of the ever insidious Israeli Nazis. This is hogwash of the highest order we are being leveraged into now by trickster ploys now meant to send our arms, and of course trainers and advisors, and then whoops: Vietnam redux! Not in OUR name you won’t!

So the USA is going to give guns to and probably bomb for, the increasingly Al Qaeda controlled rebels. Gee….what could possibly go wrong? I’m sure it will totally end better than when the US decided to help create the Taliban and Al Qaeda by arming the Mujahideen.

Libya is doing marvelously….the citizens are much better off having warlords and death squads ruling the country.
