The U.S. equity market slipped on Tuesday, July 16, 2013, as some mixed economic data and earnings reports weighed down market sentiment. Shares in Sony Corporation moved lower on Tuesday, tracking losses in the broader market. The company's shares oscillated between $21.93 and $22.22 before finishing the day 1.26% lower at $21.96. The company's shares ended the day 0.16% lower at $18.36 after oscillating between $18.11 and $18.45. Despite Tuesday's pullback, Carter's shares are currently trading near their 52-week high of $75.47, and also above their 50-day and 200-day moving averages. Church & Dwight Co. Inc.'s stock edged lower on Tuesday, reversing some of its recent gains. The company's shares oscillated between $63.33 and $63.93 before closing the day 0.64% lower at $63.60.
