CANADA STOCKS-TSX turns positive as TransCanada, golds gain

TORONTO, July 26 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index
turned higher in early Friday trading as gains in TransCanada
Corp and in shares of gold miners helped offset
weakness in financials.
    At mid morning, the Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX
composite index was up 4.69 points at 12,673.83.
