VIETNAM PRESS-VAMC issues $38 mln bonds to pay bad debts in banks - Tuoi Tre
The Vietnam Asset Management Co (VAMC) has issued special bonds worth 793 billion dong ($37.6 million) to pay the bad debt bought from three domestic banks, including Sacombank, according to the State Bank of Vietnam, the Tuoi Tre (Youth) newspaper reports.
The five-year bonds issued by VAMC, a central bank-run firm, would carry zero percent coupon, the report said.
