"We are thrilled to have reached the milestone of having one million members join the Orbitz Rewards program," said Chris Orton, president of Orbitz.com. "We designed Orbitz Rewards to be transparent and easy to use, and we're delighted to see the strong consumer interest we've had in our free program since launch. Although it's still early days, the program is working as planned. We're seeing loyalty members booking more trips with us as well as more air customers now also booking hotels from us. The higher level of earn when booking a hotel through our mobile apps is also rewarding Orbitz Rewards members when they download and engage with our groundbreaking mobile apps for iPhone, iPad and Android."

To celebrate reaching one million Orbitz Rewards members, Orbitz launched Bags of Swag - a fun and free game where travelers can play six different game experiences: Beach, Romantic Spa, Mystery Experience, City Escape, Adventure and The High Life. After playing a game experience, travelers can earn up to two entries into the sweepstakes for a chance to win over 100 travel escapes valued at nearly $200,000. Prizes range from winning free hotel stays to luxury vacations in South Africa, Vienna, Hawaii and Las Vegas, just to name a few. Play Bags of Swag now through December 15 and access complete game rules at www.orbitz.com/bagsofswag.
Everyone is invited to play Bags of Swag but it pays to be a member. Orbitz Rewards members get more chances to win bonus entries by sharing the game on Facebook and Twitter, downloading the Orbitz app or challenging friends to play against them to beat their high score. The first 2,000 Orbitz Rewards members to play the game will also receive an Orbucks bonus. Additionally, non-members have the chance to receive bonus entries by sharing the game on Facebook and Twitter. On top of the six game experiences, Bags of Swag players have the opportunity to win a prize instantly by playing the Instant Win Game. A random drawing will be held at the end of the game to determine the lucky winners.
