S&P raises North Dakota's issuer credit rating to AAA

Dec 13 (Reuters) - Standard & Poor's Ratings Services on Friday said it raised North Dakota's issuer credit rating to AAA from AA-plus, citing the state's strong financial performance and position.

The outlook is stable.

The higher rating also reflects the state's strong economic metrics and low debt, the rating agency said in a statement.

The stable outlook reflects North Dakota's strong government framework and management, strong budgetary performance and enhanced reserves.
