Ruckus Media Group Partners with Warner Bros. Consumer Products to Provide Mobile Read-along Titles
Children Can Now Enjoy Top Warner Bros. Brands and Characters on iOS Mobile Devices Via the Ruckus App
Ruckus Media Group, an independent digital family entertainment company, today announced a partnership with Warner Bros. Consumer Products [WBCP], the steward of popular brands such as DC Super Friends™, Scooby-Doo™, Tom and Jerry™, among many others. Through this new partnership, Ruckus will offer digital downloads of WBCP’s narrated e-books in mobile markets in the US and Canada, beginning with a seasonal selection of titles in December 2013, via the Ruckus universal app for iOS devices.
The Ruckus/WBCP launch will offer a variety of brands, with more than 100 Read-Along titles rolling out in the coming months. Multiple narrated e-books will be included from much-loved brands such as Batman™, DC Super Friends™, Justice League™, Looney Tunes™, Scooby-Doo™, Superman™, Tom and Jerry™ and The Wizard of Oz™.
Ruckus titles download directly to mobile devices, allowing children to enjoy mobile content without being tethered to WIFI connections. In addition, Ruckus Read-Alongs are commercial-free and airplay-enabled, allowing users to view them on all iOS devices.
Should they register for free, parents are provided with feedback on their child’s experiences within the Ruckus App, including time spent and amount read, along with learning tips from educators and caregivers. Children and parents can also follow word highlighting, as well as read, record and save their own voices reading the stories.
