U.S. Fed adopts tough final capital rule for foreign banks

WASHINGTON Feb 18 (Reuters) - The Federal Reserve Board voted to adopt a tight set of rules that would require foreign banks to hold as much capital in the United States as their local rivals.

The banks won only minor concessions from a draft version of rule, which was proposed in Dec. 2012.
