SAN SALVADOR (Reuters) - Former Marxist rebel Salvador Sanchez Ceren was running neck and neck with his right-wing rival Norman Quijano in El Salvador's presidential election after 50 percent of polling stations had reported on Sunday.

Both candidates had 50 percent of the vote, according to partial results on the country's electoral tribunal's website.
