MOSCOW (Reuters) - Russia's top general has told the chairman of NATO's Military Committee by telephone that the Atlantic bloc's increased military activity near the Russian border is not helping European security, the Defense Ministry said on Monday.

The ministry statement said the chief of general staff of the Russian armed forces, General Valery Gerasimov, had also discussed the Ukrainian crisis with NATO General Knud Bartels.

"Army General Valery Gerasimov expressed concern over the substantial increase of NATO military activity near the Russian border, which does not contribute to security in Europe," the statement said.

sorry bro, we are going to defend this. measure your russian 175 million versus our 350 million, and then try to factor in the rest of our allies in europe. after that, try to do the math on where you should be right now if you didnt steal atomic secrets. guess what, you are still that far behind. we just need a leader who is willing to press the technological edge and everything you are doing is giving a rise to such a leader

I agree completely, stay away from their borders we have no business doing that because in the first place they are not members of NATO.How would we react. We helped orchestrate a coup of a Democratically elected Government. We are screwing up folks.Whats right is right and whats wrong is wrong and we have made many a mistake beginning with Nam and the disaster in Iraq that still remains a disaster.
