MEXICO CITY (Reuters) - A cargo train used by Mexicans and Central Americans to travel toward the U.S. border derailed in the southern Mexican state of Oaxaca on Wednesday, stranding about 1,300 migrants, emergency services said.

Many of the migrants aboard were young people and nobody was injured when the train nicknamed "the Beast" came off the tracks, a spokesman for local emergency services said.

Since last October, more than 50,000 unaccompanied minors, most from El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras, have been caught illegally crossing the southwest border of the United States.

Children say that they are fleeing violence at home and hope that they will be able to stay in the United States.

Several days of heavy rain in southern Mexico may have caused the train to derail, authorities said.

So Mexico knows it is passing trainloads of people to US Border with no documentation? Sounds like the time for Mexico and US to have a meeting and meanwhile it is time to defund and dismantle the DHS… move US troops in rotation to the border and begin impeachment hearings. Drinking beer and playing pool while this crisis exists is in violation of the oath of office. this has nothing to do with opinions of various publicity and power seeking too public figures but with the simple rule of law..

Now watch the usual media suspects demand the US mount a humanitarian effort – to deliver them (illegally of course) to the US!

Now this might get the National Guard out because Obama will want to have them go rescue these illegal to make sure the get here to help him destroy this country. Maybe he could get a few billion more tax payer dollars and cut out the coyotes and just go to South America and have them flown in, why take chances. Gee, that way he could even say, and I am sure the press will back him up, that he is fighting crime by doing that.
