Russian oilmin withdraws statement on Iranian oil exports

MOSCOW Aug 5 (Reuters) - Russia's Energy Ministry said on Tuesday it was withdrawing Minister Alexander Novak's statement on cooperation with Iran on crude oil shipments.

The ministry's spokeswoman said a new statement was expected on Wednesday.

Earlier on Tuesday, it quoted Novak as saying Russia will help Iran to arrange shipments of its oil to markets. (Reporting by Katya Golubkova, editing by William Hardy)
