KUWAIT, July 12 (Reuters) - Kuwaiti logistics firm Agility (AGLT.KW) said on Sunday one of its units is part of a U.S. Army deal with a group lead DynCorp International Inc (DCP.N).

"Agility Defense & Government Services (DGS), and its partners... have been awarded a task order for logistics support for the Afghanistan-South Area of Responsibility (AOR)," Agility said in a statement.

DynCorp and Fluor Corp (FLR.N) have been picked over KBR Inc (KBR.N) for five-year contracts worth up to $7.5 billion each to support U.S. troops in Afghanistan, the U.S. Army said last week. (Editing by Tim Dobbyn)
