 July 13 (Reuters) - The following financial services
industry appointments were announced on Monday. To inform us of

 STANDARD LIFE INVESTMENTS
 The fund manager named Eric Roberts, previously managing
director-U.S. Northeast Sales at Putnam Investments, as head of
institutional sales. Roberts, whose appointment expands the
company's U.S. business development team, will report to James
Aird, head of strategic development.
 MORGAN JOSEPH
 The investment bank has hired Nancy Huggins, who previously
held investment banking positions at Bear Stearns and
Wasserstein Perella & Co, as a banker with its corporate
finance team serving middle-market companies. Huggins will
cover mid-cap industrial and consumer companies in the U.S.
Southwest, including energy.
 MOELIS & CO
 The boutique investment bank has hired John Binnie, most
recently the lead capital markets partner at Southgate
Alternative Investments, as a managing director providing
advisory services to clients in the financial services
industry.
 PIMCO
 The investment management firm has hired Rod Dubitsky,
formerly a managing director and head of asset-backed
securities research at Credit Suisse (CSGN.VX), as executive
vice president and global structured finance specialist.
 MORGAN STANLEY (MS.N)
 The global financial services firm named Rashique Rahman as
managing director and global head of emerging markets fixed
income strategy. Rahman, who would be based in London, joins
Morgan Stanley from Armored Wolf where he was an emerging
markets co-portfolio manager.
 BARCLAYS (BARC.L)
 The company has hired mergers and acquisitions banker Mark
Todd from Citigroup Inc (C.N), a person familiar with the
matter said, the latest in a string of hires as the British

 DELOITTE FINANCIAL ADVISORY SERVICES LLP
 The subsidiary of Deloitte LLP DLTE.UL appointed Hank
Tremaine to its Lease Advisory Services group and David Cook as
a director in its business intelligence services group.
 Tremaine, who would be located in McLean, Virginia,
co-founded a lease inspection services provider, prior to
joining Deloitte, while Cook served as a managing director for
a consulting firm.
 RAIT FINANCIAL TRUST (RAS.N)
 The company named Michael Gaffney and Kenneth Kates as
managing directors of its registered broker-dealer, RAIT
Securities LLC. Both Gaffney and Kates join RAIT Securities
from Wachovia Capital Markets.
 FIRST STATE INVESTMENTS
 The company, which provides specialist asset management
services, named Gary Withers as regional managing director for
Europe, Middle East and Africa. Withers joins First State
Investments from Credit Suisse (CSGN.VX) where he was head of
global investors.
 COREFINO
 The company named Judith Rothrock as acting chief marketing
officer. Rothrock has formerly worked for Lawson, Hyperion and
Ceridian, and is the current president of JRocket Marketing.
 RBC CAPITAL MARKETS
 The corporate and investment banking arm of Royal Bank of
Canada (RY.TO) (RY.N) named John Roberts as non-executive
chairman of its main European subsidiary, Royal Bank of Canada
Europe Ltd (RBCEL).
  Roberts has been with RBC since September 2005, when he
joined as non-executive director on the board of RBCEL and
chairman of RBCEL's audit committee.
 MIZUHO SECURITIES ASIA LTD
 The subsidiary of Mizuho Securities Co Ltd, which is the
core securities arm of Mizuho Financial Group Inc (8411.T),
named John Paul Armenio as chairman and chief executive.
Armenio was most recently managing director of capital markets
at Morgan Stanley in New York.
 SAXO BANK
 The trading and investment specialist named Nick Beecroft
as senior foreign exchange consultant. Beecroft will be based
in Saxo Bank's London office. Prior to his appointment at Saxo
Bank, Beecroft spent five years at Standard Chartered Bank
(STAN.L) (2888.HK).
 LANGHOLM CAPITAL
 The independent mid-market fund that invests in
consumer-facing companies named Steven Esom as an operating
partner. Esom previously served as executive director of food
for Marks & Spencer Plc (MKS.L).
 GUY CARPENTER & CO LLC
 The global risk and reinsurance specialist, a unit of Marsh
and McLennan Cos (MMC.N), named Chris McKeown as the chief
executive of global analytical and specialty practices. Prior
to joining Guy Carpenter, McKeown served as president and chief
executive of CIG Reinsurance Ltd.
 MARSH
 The unit of Marsh and McLennan Cos (MMC.N) named Judith
Cooper as a client executive in its UK real estate practice.
Cooper joins Marsh from GPT Halverton Ltd, a fund and asset
management company.
 CONDUIT CAPITAL MARKETS
 The independent mid-market derivatives and securities
dealer named Paul Blake as head of fixed income sales. Prior to
his appointment, Blake was head of institutional bond sales,
Europe and Asia at CIBC World Markets in London.
 ALTEGRIS INVESTMENTS
 The company named Todd Trusso, a five-year veteran of
Altegris, as a director. The company also appointed Chris
Maudlin as a vice-president in the private client group and
Chris Vigliatore as an associate vice-president to the
company's institutional relationships team.
 Prior to Altegris, Maudlin was a financial advisor at
Merrill Lynch, while Vigliatore was with MAN Financial.
