FACTBOX-India's top software exporters in 2007/08

 July 9 (Reuters) - Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. (TCS.BO)
retained its position as India's leading exporter of software
and services in 2007/08, rankings from the National Association
of Software and Service Companies (Nasscom) showed on
Wednesday.
 India's software and services exports are expected to rise
21 to 24 percent to around $50 billion in the year to March
2009, moderating as a downturn in the U.S. economy crimps
outsourcing demand, Nasscom said. For a story, see

 Following are the rankings of the top 20 software exporters
in the year to March 2008, compiled by Nasscom.
 1. Tata Consultancy Services Ltd (TCS.BO)
 2. Infosys Technologies Ltd (INFY.BO)(INFY.O)
 3. Wipro Technologies Ltd (WIPR.BO)(WIT.N)
 4. Satyam Computer Services Ltd (SATY.BO)(SAY.N)
 5. HCL Technologies Ltd (HCLT.BO)
 6. Tech Mahindra Ltd (TEML.BO)
 7. Patni Computer Systems Ltd (PTNI.BO)
 8. i-flex solutions Ltd IFLX.BO
 9. Mphasis Ltd (MBFL.BO)
 10. L&T Infotech Ltd.
 11. Computer Sciences Corp's (CSC.N) India ops
 12. Aricent
 13. Syntel Inc
 14. Prithvi Information Solutions Ltd (PISL.BO)
 15. Hexaware Technologies Ltd (HEXT.BO)
 16. Polaris Software Lab Ltd (POLS.BO)
 17. NIIT Technologies Ltd (NITT.BO)
 18. Sonata Software Ltd (SOFT.BO)
 19. Mastek Ltd. (MAST.BO)
 20. Genpact India Ltd (G.N)
 NOTE:Nasscom said the list did not include some companies
whose corporate headquarters are located outside India, but
have significant India-centric delivery capabilities, and have
not shared their India-centric revenue figures.
 Had they been ranked based on their India revenues,
companies such as Accenture (ACN.N), Cognizant (CTSH.O),
Hewlett-Packard (HPQ.N) and IBM (IBM.N) would have also
appeared in the rankings.
