Fannie Mae sells $3.5 bln 5-year benchmark notes

NEW YORK, Oct 23 (Reuters) - Fannie Mae (FNM.N) (FNM.P) said on Friday it priced a new $3.5 billion five-year benchmark note issue.

The 2.625 percent notes were priced at 99.474 to yield 2.737 percent or 33 basis points over comparable U.S. Treasuries.

The joint lead managers on the sale were Barclays, Deutsche Bank and JP Morgan. (Reporting by Caryn Trokie; Editing by James Dalgleish)
