Bush promises "strong action" in financial crisis
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. President George W. Bush on Thursday said he assured Slovak President Ivan Gasparovic that the United States will take "strong action" to deal with the economic crisis.
"I assured him that the United States will take strong action in dealing with the current economic situation," Bush said in the Oval Office after meeting with Gasparovic.
