(Reuters) - Following are security developments in Iraq at 1300 GMT (1 p.m. British time) on Friday.

MOSUL - A roadside bomb killed a man and his son in eastern Mosul, 390 km (240 miles) north of Baghdad, Iraqi military spokesman Brigadier-General Khalid Abdul-Sattar said.

MOSUL - Two bodies were found with gunshot wounds on Thursday in eastern Mosul, police said.

BAGHDAD - U.S. forces captured a suspected senior leader of an Iranian-backed militia group in northern Baghdad on Wednesday, the U.S. military said.
