NEW YORK (Reuters) - Blockbuster Inc (BBI.N: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) may introduce a movie download service as soon as next year, the company's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer John Antioco said on Tuesday.
Antioco told the Reuters Media Summit that he would "not be surprised" to see Blockbuster announce the start-up of a download service in fiscal 2007, possibly in conjunction with a cable or satellite provider.
