 LOS ANGELES, Nov 15 (Reuters) - Following are the top 10
films at the North American box office for the three-day
weekend beginning on Nov. 13, led by the new release "2012,"
according to studio estimates compiled on Sunday by Reuters.
 1 (*) 2012 ............... $65.0 million
 2 (1) A Christmas Carol .. $22.3 million
 3 (3) The Men Who Stare at Goats ........ $ 6.2 million
 4(12) Precious ........... $ 6.1 million
 5 (2) This Is It ......... $ 5.1 million
 6 (4) The Fourth Kind .... $ 4.7 million
 7 (7) Couples Retreat .... $ 4.3 million
 8 (5) Paranormal Activity ............... $ 4.2 million
 9 (8) Law Abiding Citizen ............... $ 3.9 million
10 (6) The Box ............ $ 3.2 million
 NOTE: Last weekend's ranking in parentheses. * = new
release. "Pirate Radio" opened at No. 11 with $2.9 million.

a unit of Sony Corp (6758.T) (SNE.N).
 "A Christmas Carol" was released by Walt Disney Pictures, a
unit of Walt Disney Co (DIS.N).
 "Precious" was released by Lionsgate, a unit of Lions Gate
Entertainment Corp (LGF.N).
 "The Men Who Stare at Goats" and "Law Abiding Citizen" were
released by Overture Films, a unit of Liberty Media Corp
(LINTA.O).
 "The Fourth Kind" and "Couples Retreat" were released by
Universal Pictures, a unit of General Electric Co (GE.N).
"Pirate Radio" was released by Universal's Focus Features
division.
 "Paranormal Activity" was released by Paramount Pictures, a
unit of Viacom Inc (VIAb.N).
 "The Box" was released by Warner Bros Pictures, a unit of
Time Warner Inc (TWX.N).
