* Replaces $250 mln credit facility due to expire July 13

* To issue notes in the aggregate amount of $55 mln

July 10 (Reuters) - UTi Worldwide Inc (UTIW.O) said it replaced its $250 million credit facility due to expire on July 13 by issuing notes and entering into agreements providing for new working capital and credit facilities.

The logistics provider said the new senior unsecured guaranteed notes totaling $55 million bear a fixed rate of interest of 8.06 percent per annum.

The company said the new facilities include about $83 million working capital and credit facility from Nedbank Ltd for its South African operations.

UTi also entered into two separate two-year unsecured letters of credit facilities -- one from ABN Amro Bank N.V. and another from Nedbank -- for a total of $86 million to support its global operations outside South Africa.

The Royal Bank of Scotland has also issued a letter of credit for about $44 million, it said.

UTi shares closed at $11.05 Thursday on Nasdaq. (Reporting by A.Ananthalakshmi in Bangalore; Editing by Anne Pallivathuckal)
